In 2007/8 Marina DOr will have two impressive golf courses built less than 5km away from the current complex. One will be designed by Sergio Garcia and the other by Greg Norman
Until then there are a number of golf courses nearby which are noted below.
All golf courses require fees to be paid before playing and are 18 hole courses. Prior booking is recommended. Prices are approximate only. Golf players must follow golf rules and etiquette. Permitted attire for most courses is:
shirts, blouses or polos with a collar; long golf trousers, shorts, bermuda type suitable for golf; golf shoes with soft cleats or dimples, sport shoes.

The 18 hole golf course was designed by Ramon Espinosa in 1978 and is a par 72. It is approximately 13km from Oropesa. Drive on the N340 and towards Castellon Norte, a turning 1 km from the Norte exit will be signed to the golf course.

Situated between Barcelona and Valencia, this beautiful 7000 yard Par 72 golf course represents European Golf Designs first golf course designed in Spain in association with Bernhard Langer. Approximately 30 40 minutes drive on the AP7 or N340.
The course has been routed through a rolling landscape of olive trees and boasts splendid views of surrounding hills and mountains.
Several features including a huge driving range, is available with teeing grounds at each end, three academy holes, a large chipping green with bunkers and an enormous putting green make this one of the most comprehensive practice facilities in Spain. Abundant teeing space has been provided to allow golfers of all standards to enjoy this golf course.
At whatever length selected, the course will provide a spectacular challenge particularly at the five water holes, with the Par five 11th and Par three 12th being two of the most exciting holes you could play anywhere.

Robert Trent Jones Jnr designed Bonmont Golf Course, which was built in 1990. It is a par 72 course, 6371 metres. The course makes full use of the natural landscape, and to enhance this, has 90 bunkers and some testing water hazards, with a twisting ravine coming into play on several holes. The course has wonderful views over the Mediterranean, and a spectacular mountain backdrops. Bonmont hosted the 1991, 1996 Catalan Open, won by no less than distinguished players such as Josι Maria Olazabal and Paul Lawrie respectively. The practice facilities at Bonmont are superb.
The course is about a 45 minute drive from Oropesa towards Salou on the AP7.

The El Bosque Golf Club is located in Valencia. It opened in 1975, designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr., It is a 72 par course , 6249 metres.
The course is near Valencia about about a 90 minute drive from Orepeza
It is a challenging course with testing water hazards and 90 sand bunkers and is slightly hilly.
